The only memory I have is looting a cup from some ruins that turned out to be a quest item that I needed months later that I ended up losing. I must have just run around killing stuff because I don't remember any of this. I played a lot of Morrowind when I was 13-14 but clearly didn't make it very far in the game. Lucky me! Īnyways, this is gonna be along game. Turns out it's the hidden 2nd story of the dungeon otherwise accessible by an entrance outside that I don't think I would have ever found. 99% of the time they don't lead anywhere, but hey, why not. Oh, before I leave the dungeon, I'll levitate into this hole in the ceiling. Weird, guess this isn't the right set of orcs.
I enter some ruins and find some to kill orcfolk, but Burub isn't one of them. The immediate next quest to kill an orc Burub gra-Bamog tells me to find some "orcs west of an old Dunmer fortress". Then again, I think looking for Sargon was a slow pitch for me to practice with that was actually pretty easy in hindsight. I think the problem is that when I was looking "just north of Maar Gan", I perpetually thought I was just around the corner from Sargon so I never thought to re-read the literature. In the future I'll look in both places when I'm stumped. I also just noticed that in the journal entry, "Sargon" is clickable and it says it's on a well-hidden island.
